Product Description

Brief Description

The product is a UVLED 395nm cured screen printing ink made by mainly Modified epoxy acrylic resin and 2-Phenoxyethyl acrylate.

SDT series primer/undercoat with good adhesion for applying to various wine bottle as clear glasses, ceramic, frosted finish, water base painted finish, matte coated finish, oil base painted finish,etc;
Match with the same series varnish with good performance for foiling effect.

There have DT-S2, DT-S3, 868,100SY,100SR,S5 and DT-S3-3 for option. The ink is passed ROHS, EN-71,VOA free, silicon-free,heavy metal-free, phthalate free, BPA free.

Application

Apply to the metallic foil decal of sport ware as bicycle frame, helmet, and wooden furniture etc. This primer is the upgraded version of DT-100 (Old product), With better printing performance, much transparent and better adhesion.
And also workable for the item made of glass, metal, plastic, etc. With good printing performance with both semiautomatic and automatic screen printing machine. With good adhesion after baking.

DT-S2: Ivory white color, with good adhesive for all the material. Good for glass decal, metal, coated metal, also workable on paper job which the foil on the color surface.
DT-S3-3: Clear Primer, transparent, suitable for glass and transparent item. The adhesion is good, after heating 170C 20min, pass the alcohol test.
DT-S3: Clear primer, With strong adhesive after heating 130C to 150C, 20min. Pass the cross-test. Suitable to sport equipment like bicycle frame, helmet, and carbon fiber ware etc.  
868: High gloss hot stamping base oil, suitable for summer use or mixed with S3, mainly to improve the brightness of hot stamping. And can be mixed in 100SY and 100SR ratios in winter.
100SY:Universal hot stamping base oil, suitable for any wine bottle and ceramic surface.
100SR: Softer than 100SY, suitable for winter use.
100SZ:Harder than 100SY and 100SR, can be mixed with 868 in winter.
S5: Excellent anti bubbling and cracking performance, suitable for mixed with 100SR in winter.

To sum up: 868,100SY,100SR,100Z and S5 can be mixed with for use.

Installation Instructions

Printing Conditions

  1. Stir well before use; if the primer become hard, use a ink mixer to stir 2 min by 2000rpm is better.
  2. The printing mesh 250mesh (100T) is the best;
  3. Drying: 395nm LED cured, 5000-8000J/cm²; Or dry by UV.  
  4. Printing workshop temperature 22 ~25Cº, humidity 55% ~ 65%;
  5. Reducer: Use special reducer DT-70, 3% ~ 15%;
  6. Each step must dry completely.
 

How to make water transfer decal?

Step1
 
Screen Print Primer/Undercoat on water transfer decal paper. Then dry by LED-UV 395nm or UV. Must completely dry.
Step2

Put the printed decal (Step 1) on hot lamiation machine to stamp the foil on.
Step3
 
Screen Print Covercoat/Varnish , printing area is 0.5-1mm bigger than "undercoat area". Must completely dry.
Step4
 
Screen Print peel off coat.Must completely dry. The decals is done and ready to use and packing after this step.

 
Storage


Place in dark area and seal well in room temperature 15ºC up. If the ink has open, must seal up well and stir 2 minutes before use.

In Winter, if the ink frosted, heat the ink at 25 ºC and mix with DT-70(Reducer with defoaming) 5% to 10%.
